Preparing for FaceTite

There isn’t much you need to do to prepare for your FaceTite procedure. During your consultation, you will feel comfortable candidly discussing your concerns and aesthetic goals. Your provider will conduct a review of your medical history, and you will learn more about the FaceTite procedure. Together, you will decide if FaceTite is the right treatment for you.

Before your FaceTite appointment, you may be asked to discontinue taking certain medications like NSAIDs and blood thinners, as this could increase bleeding. Additionally, though FaceTite is performed under local anesthesia and will not affect your ability to drive yourself home, you might feel more comfortable making transportation arrangements with a friend or family member if you have received pain medication.

The FaceTite Procedure

Before your FaceTite treatment begins the treatment area will be numbed with a local anesthetic. A small incision is strategically placed in the targeted area using a medium-sized needle, allowing for the insertion of a slender probe directly beneath the skin. This probe acts as a conduit for radiofrequency energy, which is meticulously directed to the areas rich in collagen and fat. The energy gently heats these layers, fostering an environment where collagen production is stimulated, and fat cells are efficiently broken down. This process not only tightens and lifts the skin but also enhances its texture and overall quality, leading to a noticeably more youthful and contoured facial profile.

Once your FaceTite treatment is complete, you will be fitted with a compression garment.

FaceTite Recovery and Results

After your FaceTite treatment, you can expect to experience mild discomfort, swelling, bruising, and/or numbness in the treated areas. This will quickly diminish. Most of our FaceTite patients feel comfortable returning to work and normal activities in just a few days. You will be advised to refrain from exercise and more strenuous activities for a couple of weeks.
