Dr. Leung, FACOS is a general surgeon with advanced specialty training in minimally invasive surgery as well as bariatric surgery. He focuses on minimally invasive techniques for the treatment of various surgical problems in the abdomen. In addition to performing laparoscopic procedures on the esophagus, stomach, gallbladder, appendix, colon, and abdominal hernias, he also performs weight loss surgeries such as laparoscopic adjustable gastric banding, sleeve gastrectomy and gastric bypass.

Dr. Groff, D.O is a general surgeon with advanced specialty training in trauma. Critical and acute care surgery. He is the newest member of Long Island Laparoscopic surgical team and focuses on minimally invasive techniques for the treatment of various surgical problems. Dr. Groff utilizes laparoscopic surgery techniques that create small incisions with minimal pain and scarring. He performs surgical procedures of the abdomen such as surgery of the stomach, esophagus (reflux), gallbladder, colon, spleen, and hernia repair. He also has a special interest in the field of trauma and acute care surgery.
Leslie Welsch, MS, RD, CDE, CDN
Dietitian-Nutritionalist, Long Island Laparoscopic Doctorssm
Leslie is a Registered Dietitian, Certified Diabetes Educator, and Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist. Leslie received her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from The University of Delaware. She received her Master of Science in Medical Biology Nutrition from Long Island University, CW Post where she earned the Outstanding Nutrition Award for her thesis work on Diabetes. Leslie began her career in the hospital setting, but quickly began working for various physicians on Long Island counseling their patients privately.
